July 6, 2012 – The following three candidates have been selected as finalists for the 2012 White Rose Sweetheart. These three women will attend the 45^th Grand Chapter where the 2010 White Rose Sweetheart, Kara Fox, will crown the winner.

Kristee Elliott was nominated by Epsilon Sigma Chapter at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.  Kristee is senior from Highland, Illinois and is studying Elementary Education with an overall GPA of 3.85.  Kristee is the president of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, a member of both the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Kappa Delta Pi Honors Society.  Kristee helps the Epsilon Sigma Chapter with many philanthropy events, community service activities and supports the chapter however she can.  The Epsilon Sigma Chapter chose Kristee as their White Rose because she is supportive, dedicated and cares about the well being of the chapter.

Jessica Grenard was nominated by the Alpha Phi Chapter at Southeast Missouri State University.  Jessica is a senior from Barnhart, Missouri and is studying Corporate Communication with an overall GPA of 3.87.  She is a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, a member of Rho Lambda Honor Society and has been on the Deans List for six semesters.  Jessica has supported the Alpha Phi Chapter by planning social events, helping raise money for the Special Olympics, and cheered them on during sporting and philanthropy events.  Jessica says she is excited to experience everything that comes along with being the Alpha Phi White Rose and looks forward to strengthening her relationship with the chapter and its members.

Julie Kenner was nominated by Epsilon Rho at Salisbury University.  Julie is a junior from Arnold, Maryland and is studying Social Work with an overall GPA of 3.25.  She is a member of Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority, Student Government Association and is a Campus Against Violence Peer Educator.  Julie has supported the Epsilon Rho Chapter by attending many of the Chapter’s fundraisers and philanthropy events and makes an effort to get to know every member.  Epsilon Rho says that she is always a source of enthusiasm and motivation, which is what lead her to be selected as their White Rose Sweetheart.
