June 8, 2012 - Sigma Tau Gamma is proud to introduce the newest addition to the field staff, Alexander K. Williams, CSM-EF, Delta Alpha ’12. Alex is a Development Counselor from East Carolina University (ECU), with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a double minor in Forensic Science and Anthropology.   Alex will join Josh Floyd as they provide chapter development services to provisional chapters, collegiate chapters, chapter officers, members, advisers and campus-based professionals through coaching calls and on campus visits.

Alex“I am extremely excited to have this opportunity working for the Fraternity's headquarters staff as a Development Counselor with our existing chapters,” says Alex about his new position.  “Being a big factor in establishing our chapter at ECU I know what it takes first hand to start and continue growing as a chapter in all fields that Sigma Tau Gamma stands for through manhood, brotherhood, and citizenship.”STG_Delta_Alpha_Charter

While at ECU, Alex was the key re-founding father to the Delta Alpha Chapter.  He also served as the Chapter President and the Vice President of Finance.  Alex participated in numerous organizations on campus such as the Student Government Association (SGA) Senate, Resident Hall Association (RHA) President for his dormitory during freshman year, and a member of the ECU National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) chapter.

Alex was the 2011 Stan Musial/Eric Hillman Sportsmanship Award winner as a varsity athlete with cheerleading and wrestling throughout college.  Alex was varsity member of the ECU coed cheerleading team his sophomore through senior years.  He also became a member of the ECU club wrestling team with the opportunity to travel and compete at the Conference Tournament.

“My four years at ECU had been packed with adventure and fun, keeping myself busy with student organizations and athletics but having the opportunity to join the fraternity that my father and uncle both were a member.  I look forward to my ongoing experiences working for Sigma Tau Gamma.”
