Nov. 22, 2011 – Membership in Sigma Tau Gamma is a lifetime commitment, however, most people think of fraternity membership as just the four years you spend in college. The majority of your time spent as a member of Sig Tau is actually as an alumni member. As December nears, many of our collegiate members are graduating and transitioning to alumni membership. Below are a few ways to stay connected to Sig Tau for life, whether you are just graduating or have been an alumni member for more than 40 years. 1. Join an Alumni Association. Click here to see a full list of our alumni associations and contact information. Don’t see your chapter? Start yours today! Click here for registration forms and our alumni association guidebook to get you started. 2. Continue Advancement in the Path of Principles. New members of Sig Tau learn about the fraternity through the Path of Principles Program. The greatest thing about our program is that it is a lifelong development program and does not just end when new members have been educated. Check out www.pathofprinciples.org to learn how to advance in the Principles as an alumni member. 3. Volunteer. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available through Sig Tau. Whether it’s advising a chapter or region, developing programming and retreats, or even running for a national office; there are a variety of roles one can take. Visit this page for more information. 4. Stay Committed to our Philanthropy. This commitment can be raising money or volunteering for your chapter or Sig Tau’s national philanthropy. Sig Tau recently adopted Special Olympics as our new national philanthropy. To get involved as an alumni leader, contact Jeremy Daus at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
