Oct. 19, 2011 – Expansion Counselor Derek Kaimann arrived at the Florida Institute of Technology campus earlier this week to begin recruiting Founding Fathers for Sig Tau’s newest provisional chapter. FIT is the second campus Sig Tau is expanding to this fall 2011 semester.

FIT is located in Melbourne, Fla. and has never previously been home to a Sig Tau Chapter. Founded in 1958, the university currently enrolls nearly 9,000 students. Home of the Panthers, FIT is a NCAA Division II school. There are seven other fraternities at this campus.

Expansion Counselor Paul Manly will soon join Kaimann with expansion efforts through Nov. 19. They will hold several interest sessions for potential new members. For more information and to stay updated with this new provisional chapter’s progress, visit www.facebook.com/SigTauFIT.
